The installation incorporates a set of three photographs that explore the concept of national identity erasure induced by societal pressure. These photographs serve as a commentary on the experiences of Pamiri women facing prejudice and discrimination in Russia. The artwork directly addresses the issue of social stigma and media bias surrounding Tajik migrants in Russia. The participant interviews reveal the pervasive nature of these biases, where judgements and feelings of shame are fostered within educational institutions, media portrayals, and general societal attitudes. These biases often paint migrants as "illiterate" and "stupid," creating a hostile environment for those of Tajik origin. One interview excerpt from a participant exemplifies this experience. She recounted an incident from a social science class where students were asked to share their nationalities. Anticipating negativity, a "strange feeling" arose within her.
