About the creator
- Amina Ouechtati, born in Tunisia in 1987, is a Tunisian visual artist whose creativity is deeply inspired by her connection to water and the sea. These elements have played a fundamental role in shaping both her life and artistic expression. From a young age, she was captivated by the colours of the ocean and their reflections, leading her to explore the world of art as a means of conveying emotions through brushstrokes and colours. In 2011, she embarked on her professional artistic journey, specialising in acrylic painting with a glossy varnish that gives her artwork a resin-like effect. Her work prominently features themes of the sea and fish, symbolizing freedom and fluidity. The color blue dominates most of her paintings, reflecting her profound connection to water. Over the years, Amina has developed a unique artistic identity, blending emotion, movement, and symbolism to create pieces that reflect her passion for freedom, love, and human connection.
