Benazir Ussene is a 26-year-old Lisbon-born creative with a Bachelor's degree in Social Communication and a Master's in New Media Management. Her passion for photography began in childhood and has since evolved into a professional pursuit. Whether documenting simple daily life or more complex scenes, Benazir is driven by a deep desire to freeze meaningful moments in time and transform them into lasting visual memories.

Her images were featured in the Photography Competition organized by the Parish Council of Marvila, where her ability to frame everyday beauty stood out. As part of the Costura Ponto Com project, her work wove visual narratives that paralleled the project's themes of creativity and community. Between 2016 and 2017, her lens became a tool for advocacy in the exhibition A Click for Social Inclusion, a project that celebrated diversity and gave voice to stories often left untold—each photograph a quiet testament to the power of visibility and human connection. In 2017, her work was also presented at the Alegro Alfragide Shopping Centre, transforming a commercial space into a gallery of emotion and expression, where passing glances met lingering stories frozen in time.
