About the creator
- Deeride is an abstract artist currently based in Dubai. With a love for nature and color, she expresses her creativity through abstract paintings and mixed media works on canvas. Each piece is inspired by a moment in time or a fleeting emotion, treasured within her original works. Deeride enjoys experimenting with textures and metallic tones, embracing bold and vibrant colors in her art. Every element speaks to the human spirit and the powerful forces of Mother Nature. She blends internal and external inspirations—elements of herself and the world around her—infused with a raw passion and a unique perspective shaped by the diverse cultures of her home city.
Exhibitions and Participation
In 2024, Deeride participated in a range of exhibitions. In March, she displayed Venus Kiss at the Dusit Thani Geometric Exhibit, curated by Katerina Krivda in Dubai. That same month, her works Gaza and Berry Rebel were featured in the International Women's Day Exhibit, curated by the International Studio of Art and Galleries in Dubai. In April, she showcased Worthy at the Soulful Strokes Exhibit, curated by Artezaar / Cross Borders Gallery in Dubai. In May, her works Resilience, Neon Night, Berry Rebel, Coral Dream II, and Gaza were presented at the Virtual Gallery Exhibit, curated by Holy Art Gallery in London. She also displayed Oceanic Route at the Impressionists Exhibit, curated by Funun Art in Dubai, and Resilience at both the Our Earth Our Canvas Exhibit and the Qidfa Festival, curated by Breathe Creativity in Dubai and Fujairah, respectively. In June, she exhibited Gaza, Alien Superstar, and Duality at the Color Melody Art Exhibition, curated by Artezaar / Reem Gallery in Dubai, and Oceanic Route at the Rashid Center - Versace Art Exhibition, curated by Funun Art in Dubai. In July, she participated in the Agenda Art Exhibit, curated by Katerina Krivda in Dubai, showcasing Enigma, Worthy, Oceanic Route, and Duality. In August, her piece Resilience was featured at the Canvas of Faith Virtual Exhibit, curated by Artezaar in Dubai, and she displayed Coral Dreams I at the Hunting and Equestrian Art Exhibit in Abu Dhabi.
