Artistic Style
Elena works in hard-edge geometric abstraction, building compositions from deliberate shapes, crisp edges, and layered colour relationships. Repetition, rhythm, and contrast guide the eye through each work, creating a sense of clarity and energy. Her paintings treat geometry as a language for exploring identity: each shape holds its own boundaries while existing in relation to those around it, reflecting the balance between individuality and connection, structure and change. The work aims to feel both uplifting and grounded, offering an immediate visual impact alongside space for personal reflection over time. Her distinct series move between playful arrangements and tightly ordered compositions, maintaining a consistent underlying concern with self-reliance and the ongoing process of becoming.
