About the creator
- I am Erum Afzal, originally from Pakistan and residing in the UAE for the past 20 years. My passion for painting began in my teens, and I have since explored a variety of materials, including acrylics, oils, paper, tissues, sand, and modeling paste. Alongside my art practice, I hold a degree from Pakistan and am a teacher for young children. Additionally, I completed a diploma in fashion design in Pakistan.
Artistic Approach
My artistic approach blends traditional techniques with innovative materials, resulting in unique textures and effects. I use acrylic and oil paints to create dynamic compositions, often incorporating unconventional materials to add depth and interest. This combination of methods allows me to explore different dimensions of creativity and expression in my work.
