- Fatima Al Romaithi is a visual artist and an Elementary Art Teacher intern at ACS. She earned her MFA in Fine Art and Media from New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) in 2024, after completing her BA in Art and Art History with a minor in Engineering at NYUAD in 2020.

Alongside her academic journey, she has continually pursued opportunities to expand her creative practice through workshops and residencies.
Exhibitions
Al Romaithi has showcased her work in several group exhibitions, including Flux at Project Space NYUAD, UAE (2023); Peripheries at the Temporary Art Centre, Netherlands (2023); and Bound at Bayt AlMamzar, Dubai (2023), as well as in various online galleries. Her international experience includes artist residencies at Belgrade Art Studio in Serbia and World of Co in Bulgaria, both in 2021, along with the VICE program at Exit 11 Performing Arts Company in Abu Dhabi that same year. Her work has also received media attention, having been featured in publications such as EmaratAlyoum, Aletihad, and ArtDayMe.

Passionate about community engagement and hands-on learning, Al Romaithi actively shares her creative expertise through workshops. She has led sessions in crochet, sewing, and painting for participants of different age groups, reflecting her interest in tactile practices and artistic accessibility.
