About the creator
- Hazem Kurdali is an architect and calligraphy artist, having graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in 2020. A multi-award winner, Hazem's artistic journey in Arabic calligraphy began in 2015. He has since integrated Arabic calligraphy into various forms of art, participating in both local and international projects. Notably, he contributed to the Expo Dubai 2020 and has collaborated with major brands such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier.
Exhibitions
Hazem has taken part in numerous exhibitions, including Expo Dubai 2020 and "Intersections: Tracing Origins," organized by Diarbid in 2024, where he showcased his 120x90 acrylic on canvas artwork in a live show.
Calligraphy Fashion Design
Hazem Kurdali has received numerous accolades for his contributions to the field of calligraphy and fashion design. He was awarded the Calligraphy Fashion Design Award at the MANILA International Fashion Film Festival in 2022. Additionally, he won the Best Costume Design awards at both the SARAJEVO and CROATIA Fashion Film Festivals in 2022. His work also earned the Best Message award at the UK Film Fashion Festival. Furthermore, Hazem's achievements include official selections at the Berlin Film Fashion Festival (BFFF) and the London Film Fashion Festival (LFFF) in 2022, as well as a nomination for the Best Message award at the SARAJEVO Fashion Film Festival in the same year.
