- Karim Kassam Ali is a self-taught, multidisciplinary artist based in Karachi, Pakistan. Drawing deep inspiration from nature, classical art, and historic architecture, Karim’s artistic path began early but truly came into focus in September 2014, when he wholeheartedly embraced his identity as an artist. Over the past ten years, Karim has developed a diverse body of work across various mediums, including pencil, charcoal, watercolors, acrylics, oils, sculpture, and pottery. His recent explorations include Islamic art on sheesham wood and intricate resin-based sculptures, where he fuses traditional influences with contemporary techniques. In 2018, his talent gained international attention when his 3D sheesham wood sculpture was chosen to represent Pakistan at the inaugural Jubilee Arts festival in Portugal—an important milestone in his career. In 2025, he will once again represent Pakistan on the global stage at the GE International Festival in Dubai. Committed to storytelling through craftsmanship, Karim continues to evolve his practice, now working with epoxy resin, metal, and marble to create art that bridges heritage and modernity.

Karim Kassam Ali holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. Since 2004, he has been professionally associated with the Aga Khan University, contributing to its mission while simultaneously nurturing his passion for the arts. Though formally trained in finance, Karim's artistic journey has been entirely self-taught, driven by an innate curiosity and dedication to creative expression.
