Artistic Style
Maisara's paintings are built on a visual language of trees, roots, and partially revealed faces, forms that move between abstraction and recognition and carry the weight of questions about identity and belonging. Working in acrylic and mixed media on textured, layered surfaces, she uses a restrained palette to create compositions that suggest the slow accumulation of memory rather than its immediate display. The materials themselves become part of the narrative, and the resulting works offer the viewer a space of stillness and reflection rather than direct statement. Previous teaching roles at Dubai National School, Al Rushed American Private School, and the American School of Creative Science in Sharjah.
