About the creator
- Mohamed Ali Ismail Jumaa is a Sudanese visual artist and illustrator born in 1999, currently based in the United Arab Emirates. He works across both traditional and digital media, and has participated in group exhibitions in Sudan while also leading workshops and online drawing courses. His practice sits at the intersection of fine art and creative production, with additional skills in photography, video editing, and sound engineering.
Education
Mohamed is currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at Al-Zaim Al-Azhari University in Sudan, where he enrolled in 2019. His artistic development has been self-driven and practice-based, running in parallel with his academic studies.
Exhibitions
He has participated in a number of group exhibitions in Sudan, showing paintings at the Khartoum International Exhibition, Al-Zaim Al-Azhari University Exhibition, University of Sudan Exhibition, Al-Sadaqa Hall in Khartoum, the Nile International Club Exhibition, Omdurman University Exhibition, and the Engineer's Week Sixth Exhibition at Al-Zaim Al-Azhari University. At the Al-Inmai Centre for Arts Development, he contributed both as a participating artist and as General Director of the exhibition.
Artistic Style
Mohamed works across a wide range of materials, including oils, Acrylic, watercolor, wood colors, pencil, and charcoal, alongside digital tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Procreate, with a particular interest in color and the visual realization of ideas. The breadth of his technical range reflects an artist still actively developing his visual language across multiple formats.
Additional Information
