About the creator
- Naura, a self-taught artist, embarked on her artistic journey at a young age guided by the belief that the universe is a perpetual wellspring of inspiration. Beyond visual art, she intertwines her creative energy into poetry. With an innate ability to merge the visual and literary realms, Naura offers a unique perspective that invites viewers and readers alike to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of her artistic universe. She incorporates acrylic paints in her artwork and specializes in painting on canvas and wood.
Education
Naura pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature in 2015 before obtaining her MSC in Clinical Psychology from the St. Agnes Centre for PG Research & Studies in 2017, enriching her artistic vision with a deep understanding of human behavior and narrative.
Group Exhibitions
In 2024, Naura's artwork was featured in "Bidayatan - The Beginning" at Hayat Arts and the International Women’s Day Exhibition at the International Studio Of Arts and Galleries, both located in Dubai. Additionally, she participated in the Sakku Quarterly Virtual Exhibition hosted by Sakku Art Studio. In 2023, Naura contributed to the Third Edition of the Magrudy’s Community Art Gallery in Dubai.
Awards
Naura's talent has garnered recognition through various accolades. In 2024, she secured the first runner-up position at Hayat Arts in Dubai and received the "Most Voted Award" at Sakku Art Studio. In 2023, she achieved the second-place position at the Magrudy’s Community Art Gallery.
