Nawwar Jamal Istanbuli

Short Biography

Nawwar studied Fine Arts at the University of Damascus, where he later served as an assistant lecturer in the master's programme, teaching art theory, aesthetics, printmaking, and engraving. He also taught at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Aleppo before relocating to the UAE. In 2019, he held his solo exhibition 'Sakinati'. His painting shown at 'The Little Prince' exhibition at Zamzi Gallery in Dubai received second prize. He has taught drawing and conducted oil and acrylic painting workshops at Zamzi Gallery, and currently works as Art Director for the creative team at Gargash Group, Mercedes-Benz in Dubai.

Nawwar holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Damascus, Syria.

Exhibitions
