- Rawa’a Al Tartour is a fine artist based in Abu Dhabi, celebrated for her vintage-inspired practice that draws upon childhood tales and the charm of old-world aesthetics. Blending classical techniques with contemporary sensibility, she works primarily in oils, pencils, and pastels to create portraits and figurative pieces that embody realism while evoking nostalgia and timeless emotion. Her work often explores the delicate balance between memory and imagination, bringing to life characters and moments that feel both intimate and eternal. Rawa’a is a member of the Emirates Fine Arts Society and has participated in numerous exhibitions across the UAE. Her paintings have been acquired by collectors worldwide. She also holds a degree in interior design and has worked in the field professionally, a foundation that enriches her artistic eye while keeping her primary focus on fine art.
Education
From 2017 to 2021, Rawa’a Al Tartour completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design at Abu Dhabi University, where she developed a strong foundation in design principles and creative practice. Earlier, in 2012, she participated in a painting workshop organized by ADGAS, which helped further enhance her artistic skills and passion for visual expression.

Awards & Competitions
In 2025, Rawa’a Al Tartour won 1st Place in the SAKKU Art | SQVE-5 Award and was a finalist at the Bassam Frieha Foundation. Earlier, in 2021, she won a competition organized by the Emirates Club and sponsored by Abu Dhabi University
Exhibitions
Rawa’a Al Tartour has showcased her work in several notable exhibitions, including the “New Members” Exhibition at the Emirates Fine Art Society in Sharjah, the “Bassam Frieha Foundation” Competition Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, and the Sakku Art SQVE-5 Virtual Exhibition in Dubai (2025). In 2024, she participated in the “Women’s Voice” exhibition, organized by Breathe Creativity at the Art of Living Mall in Dubai. In 2022, she took part in the Winter Camp at RFLCT Center (December) and the Masdar City Event with RFLCT Center (November). Earlier, in 2021, she conducted the Realistic Eye Workshop at RFLCT Center.
