- Osama Sbeitah is a visual artist from Palestine, born and raised in the Gaza Strip. His artistic journey began with sand sculpture on the beach, a craft he perfected over six years, which brought him widespread acclaim across the Arab world. Osama played a key role in popularizing sand sculpting as a unique art form, collaborating with well-known Arab artists and actors to showcase his talent. Beyond sand art, he expanded his creative pursuits to include sculpting with various materials, crafting paintings using coins, and producing handmade artworks and crafts. His ability to execute large-scale projects has made him a notable figure in the art world.
Awards
In 2019, Osama received a prestigious invitation from the Dubai government to move to the UAE to create the world's largest sand painting. His successful completion of this monumental project earned him a Guinness World Record, marking a significant milestone in his career. Following this achievement, he was invited by the Abu Dhabi government to craft the world's largest wooden mosaic painting, where he broke yet another Guinness World Record. In recognition of his artistic achievements, Osama was awarded the Golden Visa in the UAE, which allows him to continue his work in a supportive and inspiring environment.
