Sahar Riaz
- Sahar Riaz is a Pakistani visual artist born in 1981, based in the United Arab Emirates. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Design and a Diploma in Graphic Design, both from institutions in Lahore, and works across painting, illustration, and digital design. Nature and human expression are at the center of her practice.
Short Biography
Sahar began painting during her school years and went on to complete a formal degree in arts and design in Lahore, followed by a diploma in graphic design. Alongside her visual art practice, she is involved in theatre, contributing to stage design and character development. In 2022, she held her first solo exhibition, 'Resurgence', at Zabeel Ladies Club in Dubai, and is currently planning the launch of her own gallery.
Education
Sahar holds a Bachelor of Arts and Design from Government College for Women in Lahore, Pakistan, and a Diploma in Graphic Design from the Institute of Arts and Design, also in Lahore.
Exhibitions
Sahar held her inaugural solo exhibition, 'Resurgence', at Zabeel Ladies Club in Dubai in 2022, where her use of color and mixed media received a positive response from attendees.

Sahar's work integrates traditional painting techniques with contemporary graphic design principles, reflecting the dual nature of her formal training.
