About the creator
- My name is Sibel Yavuz, and I am originally from Istanbul, Türkiye. I worked as a banker and auditor before moving to Dubai in 2011. For the past six years, I have been a qualified Turkish language instructor, which I enjoy greatly. Painting has been my passion since childhood, and I finally began pursuing it five years ago when I gifted myself painting classes. I am a self-taught artist, and when I paint, I lose myself in the process. My goal is to create meaningful and unique artworks, focusing on abstract and contemporary styles. I am a member of the Dubai International Art Center (DIAC) and also participate in its volunteer team. Additionally, I am a member of the International Association of Visual Artists (IAVA).

I have participated in several group art exhibitions, including "Nature's Palette" at Artezaar and Reem Art Gallery in September 2023, "Inter Action" at Sakku in December 2023, and "30x30 Around the World" at Picasso Gallery and Art4You Gallery in January 2024. In February 2024, I showcased my work in "Joy" at Sultana's Imperial Studios & Art Galleries, "Bidayatan (The Beginning)" at Hayat Art, and "Beyond Boundaries" at Artezaar and Cross Borders Art Gallery. I continued my participation with "Mystique" at Sultana's Imperial Studios & Art Galleries, "Sheroes" with the Funun Art Group, and "The Art of Giving" at the Dubai International Art Center in March 2024. In May 2024, I was involved in "World Art Dubai" and "The Impressionists" with the Funun Art Group, as well as "The Nations" at the Museum of Americas in Houston, USA, and "Unity in 7 (Voyage)" at Hayat Art. My participation extended to "Only One Earth" with the Funun Art Group in June 2024, followed by "Infinity" at Luna Grande Art in Istanbul, Türkiye, in July 2024.
