Open Call: Art Residency Programme - Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation

The six-month Art Residency Programme offers professional artists, designers, architects, writers, performers, researchers, filmmakers, and cultural practitioners the space and support to elevate their practice through dedicated studios, resources, and community engagement. Participants benefit from 24-hour studio access, curatorial support, Cultural Foundation facilities, and financial resources, culminating in studio visits and a final open studio night. Applications are open until 31 January 2026, with residency cycles running from 25 March 2026 to 20 September 2026 and 25 September 2026 to 20 March 2027, and applicants must indicate their preferred start period. Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent in a relevant field), a portfolio of at least eight works (PDF), a CV with exhibition history (PDF), contact details, a short biography (max. 100 words, PDF), an artist statement (max. 150 words, PDF), personal photo, passport copy, Unified Number (UAE nationals), residency visa (non-UAE nationals), and Emirates ID (front and back).
