From Vision to Transformation – A Painting Experience
Join a select group of aspiring artists this summer for From Vision to Transformation — a studio-based painting experience led by Claude Habib. Designed to ignite creativity and sharpen technique, this Term 1 program offers a complete journey from foundational practice to public exhibition.
About the Course
From Vision to Transformation – A Painting Experience is a professional-level art program created by DiarBid in collaboration with the renowned artist Claude Habib at the Bridge, Abu Dhabi to empower aspiring and emerging artists with both technical skill and creative insight. While the full course is divided across four progressive terms, this offering is exclusively for Term 1, providing a focused and immersive experience without any obligation to continue. Term 1 is designed to build a solid foundation in fine art fundamentals, covering key areas such as drawing techniques, composition, color theory, perspective, light and shadow, and observational studies. Weekly sessions combine structured theory with hands-on studio practice, encouraging technical development alongside conceptual exploration. Students will also receive all required painting supplies, canvases and sketchbooks, access to a dedicated studio space, and complimentary coffee, during every session, ensuring a productive and inspiring environment. The term concludes on Saturday, July 2nd, followed by a two-month period (July–August) to accommodate any missed sessions and finalize student work. Participants must submit their finished artworks by September 1st, ahead of a curated public exhibition scheduled to run from September 6th to 27th, where each student will present two original pieces. Upon completion, students will receive an official certificate of completion and enjoy a complimentary 3-month Standard Account on DiarBid (valued at AED 75/month), offering access to online exhibitions, auctions, and direct sales opportunities. The full tuition fee for Term 1 is AED 7,800, inclusive of instruction, materials, mentorship, and exhibition participation, with flexible 4-month installment plans available via Tamara. The course runs from May 17 to July 2, consisting of 12 sessions held every Saturday. Participants can choose between two available time slots: a morning session from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM or an evening session from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Registration closes on May 14th, and seats are limited.
