This abstract painting is inspired by color field theory and the work of renowned artists like Mark Rothko. The interplay of colors holds profound meaning, with the orange and blue combination being one of my favorites. Blue evokes the serenity of the ocean and sky, providing a sense of stability and peace. In contrast, orange presents a more dynamic and optimistic energy. Together, they create a striking oil painting featuring a unique structure of orange and blue horizontal rectangles, built up with rich layers of oil paint and applied using a palette knife. I finish all my paintings with a layer of semi-gloss varnish, enhancing the vibrancy of the colors while offering durable, clear protection. Measuring 60 by 50 cm, this artwork is a perfect addition to any modern interior.
