- Raised in Amman, Jordan, Basel's artistic journey began with a fascination for the textures of the human face and the power of natural forces. His move to Dubai, UAE, in 2006 further enriched his creative perspective, blending his early inspirations with new cultural experiences. Basel is a self-taught artist, having developed his skills independently outside of early school instruction. His growth in art reflects a deep, personal exploration, characterized by a loose, intuitive approach that he describes as "laissez-faire.”
