The Soroptimist International Gulf Dubai chapter is registered with Dubai Humanitarian to promote social human values. Our flagship initiative on women’s health focuses on cervical cancer prevention across Africa. This invisible cancer takes the life of one woman every two minutes, stealing mothers in the prime of their life and leaving countless children as maternal orphans. Yet, cervical cancer is preventable and easily treatable. Soroptimists have designed an innovative AI-enabled digital health tool to address the pervasive lack of awareness, overcome stigma and dispel myths associated with the human paillomavirus and cervical cancer enabling women to make informed healthcare decisions. Our 'Let's Chat' tool has been successfully piloted in Kenya and is now being brought to Tunisia thanks to our local Soroptimist women's networks.
